Welcome to the new subscribers!

After the Landline program last Sunday, there are now nearly 200 subscribers to Yarns from the Farm.  I'm just delighted, and want to welcome all of you.

The response to the program has been wonderful--lots of great stories, and lots of affirmation about what I'm tying to do.

It's also been a bit overwhelming, with far more requests for sample cards and also new yarn orders than I had anticipated.

So please be patient with me while I work my way through the email backlog.  I promise to respond to all the lovely messages, but it may take me a few days!  And I'll try to get the orders out this week or early next, along with all those sample cards.  If you don't hear back from me by next week, please feel free to send another message.

Just to make things more challenging, yesterday I spent the entire day marking the new lambs, and today I'm recovering from picking up 340 rather good-sized lambs and putting them in the marking cradle.  I'm a bit late getting the marking done--lots of rainy weather got in the way, and those lambs just keep growing!

Here are a couple of shots from early in the day yesterday.

Once I get through the backlog, I promise you a proper Yarn.
